Some Pics....and Michigan weather is so spiteful!

So, last week (Monday to be specific) was my 21st b-day party at Applebee's. Somehow, my loving family talked me into the shots that I so did not want to take. For future reference: Vodka and Bacardi Limon tastes and smells like Rubbing Alcohol. The proof is in the pics- bottom is bottoms up, top is when I wish I hadnt!
Yes, so Michigan is so spiteful....I think it gives you a taste of the good weather, just to see the look on your face when you wake up the next day and realize you need your winter jacket again. Friday and Saturday were two of the most beautiful days of the year so far. Of course I was stuck at work for both of those. Still managed to break out the capris and flip flops though. So now, on my day off, what do I awake to see? Overcast skies, dreary weather, and under 50 temps. And it is only destined to get worse. Apparently tomorrow, when I have plans might I add, it is supposed to rain, and barely top out 40 degrees. You would think we all did something personal to Michigan's mother nature or something. I mean, all states have got to have seperate mother natures because there is no way the mother nature that graces Florida with that sun and that lovely breeze is the same one that gives us snow, rain, hail, and sun all in one day! Yes, Michigan's weather is very special. Also tied in w/ weather here in the thumb, is our latest season to begin: orange cone. This is a very special season in Michigan. It encompasses March all the way to October, it takes over miles and miles, it makes traveling the worst chore, and this year it has reared it's ugly head on Corunna Rd in Flint. Or what is left of it. Thats right, they ripped out the bridge-the whole thing, it's gone! Who knows when it will be back. I mean, Michigan has pretty points, but boy, does it have it's bad ones too. And the bad ones are always noticeable too, like....an entire road cut in half...you know. Ah well, at least I have finer points to look forward to, like TGI Friday's tomorrow, and the end of classes in a week. Or the pretty leaves on the trees, which should be back by next month. Until then, rain it is...
